Muslims and Methodists
- Created on Friday, 23 December 2016
With a grant from the Connexion, the Christian Muslim Forum has been working this year with Methodist Districts across the country. Pilot Districts are engaged in a wide range of initiatives - gender equality, bringing local leaders together, theological exchange, building friendships between clergy and imams, young people's involvement - which will be shared across the Connexion and the Christian Muslim Forum's network.
The non-conformist history of the Methodist Church gives a fresh perspective on British church life for Muslim communities. At an event in Blackburn, Wesley's sermon "A Caution Against Bigotry" was discussed in a workshop which included a discussion on Prevenient Grace.
If you are either Muslim or Methodist and would like to get involved, please
