On Wednesday, we had the huge pleasure of hosting Professor Tariq Modood of Bristol University to discuss some of his latest research. His presentation, ‘How to evaluate State-Religion connexions’, derives from recently completed research for an EU Horizon2020 funded project, ‘Radicalisation, Secularism and the Governance of Religion: Bringing Together Diverse Perspectives (GREASE)’.
Professor Tariq Modood is Professor of Sociology, Politics and Public Policy and Founding Director of the Centre for the Study of Ethnicity and Citizenship at Bristol University. He is co-founding editor of the international journal, Ethnicities.
Professor Modood is a world renowned expert on race, religion, multiculturalism and racial and religious diversity. He has been ranked #131 in Research.com’s global ranking of the Top 1000 scientists in the field of Law and Political Science.
