CMF annual meeting with our Patron at Lambeth Palace

Our annual meeting with our Patron took place on 5 November at Lambeth Palace. Hosted by the Archbishop of York, The Most Revd and Rt Hon Stephen Cottrell, we were delighted to be back at Lambeth to celebrate the forthcoming 20th anniversary of the Christian Muslim Forum.

Our programme titled, ‘On Twenty Years of Christian Muslim Forum – Interfaith Dialogue: Looking back, looking forward’ featured a welcome address and keynote speech by Archbishop Stephen followed by speeches from Shaykh Ibrahim Mogra, Co-chair of CMF on ‘20 years of CMF: From early beginnings to national platform – interfaith dialogue in a changing landscape’, The Rt Rev. Bishop Lusa Nsenga-Ngoy, Bishop of Willesden on ‘Diversity within and without: dialoguing with difference’, and John Woodhouse, Laudato Si’ animators UK on ‘60 years on from Nostra Aetate, interfaith dialogue – Catholic perspectives.’

CMF will mark its 20th anniversary in January 2026.
